Chairman of the Board
Retired biologist, Colorado Division of Wildlife
I support DRS because DRS is available to help the people that need it the most.
I first became involved with DRS after being introduced to them by a friend and saw serving on the board as a way to be an advocate for people with disabilities.
I have disabilities myself. I am blind and recently started experiencing hearing loss. DRS, and specifically their Specialist for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, was an invaluable resource for where to turn for help in dealing with this loss.
Loan Officer, Group Mortgage LLC
I was introduced to DRS and the DRS board by a co-worker who was utilizing their services. I continue to serve on the board for DRS because I whole-heartedly believe in their mission of empowering those who they serve with the ultimate goal of independence. DRS is an asset to this community and we hope to be able to reach every consumer that may be in need of support.
Chief Technical Officer, Precise Telehealth
I support DRS because it does a terrific job serving some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
Engineer, Hewlett Packard Enterprise
I serve on the board of Disabled Resource Services because I believe in the their mission of helping people with disabilities gain independence. More importantly Disabled Resource Services believes in and follows the values of the Independent Living Philosophy to encourage people to be partners in gaining their own independence by having self-directed goals.
Assistant Vice President Retail Banking, Adams Bank & Trust
I was introduced to DRS in 2017 when I joined the Adams Bank & Trust team. This is an organization that as a bank we have supported for several years and it was through my interactions with members of the DRS leadership team that I decided to join the Board. Joining DRS was an easy decision for me to make because of my dedication to our area and those in need. Countless individuals in our area could benefit from the broad spectrum of services offered. It is my hope to bring fresh ideas and continue to support the mission of an already well established organization.
